 At the age of eleven Glen began learning Judo, continuing to train in Jie Pai Kung fu for the duration of his teenage years.

Glen has been studying Tai Chi for over 20 years now, achieving a 4th Duan master instructor level in Tai Chi and 2nd Duan level in Wuzuquan five ancestors boxing.

Glen has won many medals in competition and holds the title of British open Pushing hands champion 1996, 97, 98. 99

Glen lives with his family in Goa, India where he teaches Tai Chi. He is a talented and qualified massage therapist in No-Hands Massage, Shiatsu and a Usui Reiki Master Teacher. He continued his studies of Chinese Medicine and completed a Diploma in Acupuncture, Acupressure and Shiatsu in February 2008.

Jan is currently the Chief instructor of Sussex Zhong Ding, holding a 4th Duan master instructor level.

Jan`s interest in the Martial arts began at the age of seven training in Jie Pai Kung fu for eight years and Karate for two years.

Jan has been studying Tai Chi and Qi Gong for over ten years with his teacher Glen Pelham-Mather. In 2001 Jan won a bronze medal in his first competition, the British championships, and has since won medals in form and pushing hands.

In 2003/5 Jan travelled to Malaysia where he studied under Nigel Sutton, Tan Mew Hong and Zhau Wei Dong. He studied Bagua in Beijing with Gao Ji Wu and travelled extensively through China visiting historical places such as the Shaolin temple, Chen family village and Wudang Mountain.

Jan is also a qualified Usui Reiki Master/ Teacher & Shamanic healer.

Mark began learning Shotokan Karate in the 1980`s gaining his 1st Kyu and first black belt in Kenshin Kan Karate in 1985.

Mark has also trained in Lau Gar, Wado Ryu and Ju Jitsu for three years.

Mark started Goju Ryu Karate achieving his black belt in 2001. The same year Mark began studying Tai Chi with Zhong Ding Association and is a 3rd Duan Senior instructor.

In 2003 Mark completed a three year Shiatsu course with the Brighton college of Shiatsu resulting in him becoming a qualified practitioner.

In 2004 Chris studied intensively in Malaysia for 15 months under Nigel Sutton, Tan Mew Hong and many of Zhong Ding`s technical advisors.

Chris has gained a 3rd Duan Senior instructors grade in Tai Chi, 2nd Duan Instructors grade in Gao Style Baguazhang.

Chris specializes in Malaysian Silat Lian Padukan, Embo, Lok 9, Silat Tua and weapons.

Chris has competed and won medals in form, Pushing hands and weapons sparring.

marc burton

Marc has been studying Tai Chi for 10 years and currently holds a 3rd Duan Senior Instructor level. He has also studied in Malaysia under Nigel Sutton and is Captain of the Zhong Ding Lao Huo squad.

Marc has won a number of medals in the British Open and Master Liang Championships competing in form, Pushing hands and weapon sparring events.

Marc is also a registered Shiatsu practitioner with the Myojindo Bodyworks Association.
