How to get here:

Its worth shopping around as there are many charter

flights at these times that come directly to Goa. We

have found you often get the best deals from the

flight company direct.

Airlines to try are British Airways, Srilankan

Airways, Airfrance, Finnair, Airindia. It can

sometimes be cheapest to fly to Bombay (Mumbai) and

then book an internal flight or train to Goa.

Internal flight companies are: Indigo, Airindia,

Kingfisher, Spicejet, Airdeccan.

I also use a company called HomenAway Travel based in Leicester.

You must have a valid 6 month tourist visa before you

leave the UK. Leave yourself plenty of time to get

this. There are various ways you can do this,

look up the Indian High Commission where you can

download forms or phone your nearest Indian High

Commission for details.

Also there are certain vaccinations that are

recommended when visiting India. Information can be

obtained from your GP or some homeopathic versions

are available.

There are many doctors here - allopathic, homeopathic,

naturapathic, ayurvedic and a hospital close by should

you need them. Also taking Vitamin B12 and/or garlic

tablets is said to keep the mosquitos away.

And REMEMBER your VISA AND TRAVEL INSURANCE!

Please note these courses are for all levels of

experience - complete beginners, men and women

welcome!

If you are on visiting India on holiday or travelling through

we also hold daily classes, one-to-one sessions

and intensive courses regularly - please contact for details.

We are also organising holidays in Morocco, France and Turkey. Please check websites for details.
